The Park designated this spot for 3 of us in a 2-hour Quick Draw Event. This overlook had great shadows, even mid-day, making it possible to create a wonderful panorama. The many tourists showed great interest in the plein air painters, which in turn contributed to their appreciation of the park, while simultaneously increasing our challenge to paint and talk at the same time!
